Due to the continuity of technological development, new business lines, chemicals, machinery and equipment that participate in the fields of work every day pose a number of problems related to the health and safety of working people.

These problems, which were not overlooked at the beginning, gained importance as they put business efficiency and business in danger.

With the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, employment of personnel related to occupational health and safety such as occupational safety specialist, workplace doctor etc. has become mandatory.

Thus, the importance given to the health of employees working in the public and private sectors has increased and safe working environments have been established. Along with this, the demand for the Occupational Health and Safety program graduates has also increased.

Our aim as the Occupational Health and Safety Program; 

To train personnel for the occupational health and safety needed by the public and private sector.

To train 'Occupational Health and Safety Specialist' who can take responsibility for occupational safety organization and occupational safety.

Working places

Our graduates can work as 'Occupational Health and Safety Specialists' in all institutions and businesses, trade and shopping centres, multi-storey high-rise buildings, universities and schools in the form of campuses and public centres, firefighters, civil defence and similar emergency organizations.
